Service Dispatcher

Location: Commerce, CA

We are looking for a Service Dispatcher in our Commerce, CA office!

SO WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Receive and dispatch incoming customer service calls to qualified service techs.
  • Compile completed field service work orders and prep for invoicing.
  • When required, collaborate with service Project Manager to complete service calls.
  • Review/Approval of service invoicing (by AAP support staff) prior to mailing.
  • Follow up with clients to insure satisfaction of completed job.
  • Schedule annual service maintenance responsibilities. 
  • Monitor purchases of service materials.
  • Assist in the monitoring of service fleets. These units should be properly stocked with common materials used in service.
  • Collaborate with AAP operations manager (Mark O Connor) with equipment/tools/vehicles/repairs and replacement needs.
  • Any other needs presented in the Service Department in achieving customer satisfaction and a successful profitable service division operations.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE A PART OF THIS ALL STAR TEAM?

  • 3 years min experience in the commercial plumbing Service & Repair business
  • Excellent customer relations and professional communication skills and conduct
  • Basic written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to organize data
  • Able to learn and adapt to existing and new programs and processes.
  • Organized with ability to complete the specific menial task as directed.
  • Team player and able to achieve assigned performance goals.
  • Able to demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Multi-tasking
  • Computer knowledge:
    • Microsoft Office including MS Word and MS Excel Word
    • Able to utilize google applications including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Docs.
    • Internet – Provide data searches and online applications (e.g. Fed Ex Delivery and ordering of products)
    • Electronic office to field communication
    • Service software utilization

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The employee may regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Distance vision.
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • The employee is regularly required to walk and sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl (for purposes of filling photocopier/printers).
  • As the employee maintains and orders supplies the employee is occasionally required to reach above shoulder height to access storage cabinets and mail cubicles.

Hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
