Location: San Leandro , CA

We are looking for a BIM Operator to join our San Leandro, CA office!

This entry-level position is responsible for supporting various project teams (including Designers. Trade Detailers, and BIM Project Coordinators) with the use of various CAD and BIM software to assist in the development of 2D/3D drawings and other documentation in accordance with company and client requirements while meeting project deadlines.


  • Uploading and Downloading of files to share sites, project documentation software, and internal servers
  • Create project folders and files to be used by design and construction BIM personnel
  • Cleaning and regular upkeep of CAD backgrounds
  • Development of 2D/3D drawings (working, presentation, shop, details, etc.)
  • Support with 2D/3D drawings (system modeling, conversions, annotation, dimensioning)
  • Provide assistance with Navisworks models (set-up, combine, manage, clash detection)
  • Support with Revit files, including the export of required project files, views, or families
  • Assist within Bluebeam, including PDF management (slip-sheet, hyperlink) and creating markups, snapshots, etc.
  • Help and maintain documentation for company standards and processes
  • Verify all completed work complies with company standards, applicable specifications/codes, etc.
  • Attend project meetings when necessary to assist in the coordination of project
  • Prepare project-deliverable packages for transmittal/submission (e.g. e-transmit / PDF submittals)
  • Troubleshoot drawing and document interpretation issues, conflicts, and errors
  • Effectively and professionally communicate with colleagues and project team members
  • Manage time to meet project schedules and task deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor


  • Proficient basic computer software skills (Windows Explorer, Word, Excel, Gmail)
  • Working knowledge and/or experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, Autodesk Fabrication, Navisworks, Bluebeam, or Revit software is preferred
  • Construction and building industry background preferred
